TBH, this stuff is fun to watch, but not on the freeway while Im trying to get to work. Go do this in a parking lot people, its safer and more considerate

Swedish drag racers had an event called Birka Cup. I think they haven’t been organizing it for few years. They blocked some freeway and had couple of matches and then moved to another location. Swedish police hasn’t been very effective in controlling street racers so it seemed to possible. I guess now police is enough active that they try to block the events from happening.

Here’s a very serious looking Ford Granada preparing to race against a Corvette in 2006 or so.

I think that illegal street racing was tried in Finland too in 90’s but here they only tried it during night time. Our police is so unforgiving that running away from them doesn’t usually work.
